Little Pumpkin ....

Hi Everyone.

Wow July sure went fast.  I am back today to share with you my card for the new challenge now started  over at The Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog.

Our fabulous sponsor for this month's challenge # 322 is:

The challenge is Anything Goes and this month there is an option to use Patterned Paper.  I chose this very cute image called Little Pumpkin, which I have coloured using Copic Markers.  To incorporate the Patterned Paper aspect I printed the image twice, once onto copic cardstock and the other onto Patterned Paper.  I have then cut out the Boots, Hat and Dress and pieced them onto the coloured image.  I am really happy with how it has turned out.

Supplies used:

All Dressed up Digital Stamps - Little Pumpkin

Paper Roses Die - Stitched Rectangles

Avery Elle Stamp - Peonies (sentiment)

Copic Markers

Versa Fine Clair - Nocturne

Copic colours used:

Pumpkin - Y17,YR16, R59, E09, YR 18, YG63 & 61

Leaves - YG61, 63, 67

Hair - E39, 49, 59

Skin - E04, 11, 01

Flowers - RV 34, 32, R83 & 81

I would like to enter into the following challenges:

Birthday Hugs....

Dropping in day today  to share my latest card.  It  has been so hot in my little craft space which has made it unbearable to sit in, so have very much enjoyed a few days that have been cooler and much better for crafting.

For my card, I had a first time play with a Penny Black stamp that I have had for a while now.  It has the most cutest little stamps, which made it so hard to choose which one to start with.

To create a little more interest,   I turned my card into a shaker and am loving how it turned out.

Supplies used:

Penny Black Transparent  Stamp - It's your day

Avery Elle Stamp & Die - Simply Said Hugs

Lawn Fawn Die - Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables

Lawn Fawn Die - Stitched Rectangle Frames

Copic Markers

Mouse: E31, E33 & W5

Balloon & Hat: RV00,RV02 & RV55

Mushroom: R24,R27,R37, E70, E71,E74

Grass: YG91,YG93, YG95

Dress my Crafts - Say it with  Heart Sequins

Stickles - Diamond

To create the shaker I cut four layers or the rectangle frame and glued 3 together, then inserted a piece of acetate and glued the top layer down.  One of the centre cutouts from the frame had a piece of patterned paper glued to it and then was attached to the Rectangle Stackable.  I placed a small amount of  "Say it with Hearts Sequins" from Dress My Craft onto the centre of the pattern paper and then glued the frame over the top.

Thanks for looking,

Until next time - Happy Crafting

3D Blooms....

Hi everyone.

Dropping in today to share a quick and easy card featuring Cut & Lift 3d Die by Lisa Horton and Creative Expressions.  I like how the flowers can be popped up after cutting.

I also experimented with some flower cut out onto patterned paper,  and the flowers can
also be cut completely by scissors after die cutting.  Which would then
create a different look.

Supplies used:

Creative Expressions die - Cut & Lift 3D - Blooms
Avery Elle Die - Wonky Stitches
Sue Wilson Die - Mini Expressions - Happy Anniversary
Avery Elle Stamp - Simply Said Hugs

Thanks for looking - until next time

Birthday Hugs.....

Hi everyone.

Popping in today to share with you 1 of 3 cards made from the one technique and so far this one is my favourite.

To create my card I stamped out 10 of the gerbera daisy's from Penny Blacks Blooming Garden and then Copic coloured them.  Each image was then fussy cut and arranged over a backing page and was attached with semi permanent tape, die cut.   I then  used foam tape to attach the pieces to my card, so that they appear to be  floating on the card.

I took inspiration for this card from a technique shown on You Tube  by Jennifer McGuire and the here is the link to her You Tube Video - Floating Die Cut Frame.

It was lots of fun and took a while to arrange the pieces onto the backing card so that they looked nice, but well worth the effort.

supplies used:
Penny Black stamp - Blooming Garden
Avery Elle Die and Stamp - Simply Said Hugs
Copic Markers

There is still 25% off Storewide, so pop on over and have a look and please dont forget to join us for our Anything Goes Challenge.  We love seeing your creations.

Thanks for looking.

Until next time - Happy Crafting

Hello ....

Hi everyone.

So glad that today is a little cooler and there is currently a very nice sea breeze happening, which is such a pleasant relief after sweltering over the last few days and nights with 40 plus temperatures.

Today I would like to share with you a card made using a  stamp set called Peonies which is by Avery Elle that I have had for a while but today is its first stamping.  It does have a matching die but have yet to add it to my collection.

The image was masked and layered and fussy cut, then coloured using Copic Markers. The centre of the flower has been highlighted with my purple Sakura Jelly Pen.

The background layer is a die  from Memory Box and is called Square Links, I can see this one having lots of uses in the future, love it.  The sentiment is a die and is from Penny Black.

Thanks for dropping by and hope that you have a wonderful week.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.
