Magnolia and Cherry Blossoms....

Hello, popping in today to share with you my latest card.

In September last year Bec released a Digital package  as a Lockdown Freebie in her Newsletter, which included Digital Papers in various colours and two Magnolia and Cherry Blossom Digital Stamps.  For my inspiration today I have chosen to use the Digital Stamp  in the left facing position, together with a Bizzy Becs Digital Sentiment Stamp (which is an oldie so unsure if it was a newsletter freebie.)

It was a fun image to colour using Copic Markers, and Poly Chromos Pencils to create texture and extra definition on the Magnolia.

Supplies used:

Bizzy Becs Digital Stamp - Magnolia and Cherry Blossom

Bizzy Becs Digital Stamp -  Have a Fabulous Birthday

Lawn Fawn Die - Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables

Copic Markers
Faber Castell Poly Chromos Pencils
Pretty Pink Posh - Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix

Thanks for looking

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Penguin Family....

Hi hello back again today to share with you my new card.

For my card  this month, lately I have been seeing a new style of card on the block - Pop and Twist.  So I did some investigating and lots of youtube watching and this is what I have come up with.

My card base is a standard A2 card 10.5cm x 14.8 cm and is a top fold card. my pop out which you will see shortly is cut at 28.5 cm x 6.5 cm and I have cut two pieces. For the next steps to make the pop out mechanism I followed a Youtube Tutorial by Maymaymade it Crafts .

I then embellished the basic pop out and card base with my own patterned paper, copic coloured images and die cuts. Lots of folding etc, but well work the end result.

Supplies used:

Stampingbella stamp - Penguin Family

Lawn Fawn stamp & Die - Happy Happy Happy Add on

Lawn Fawn Die - Stitched Hillside borders

Lawn Fawn - Small stitched Rectangle Stackables

Creative Expressions Die - Festive Mini Wonderful Time of the Year

Distress Ink Pads -Evergreen Bough & Peacock Feathers -  Kit 1 @ 4

Lawn Fawn sparkle cardstock - Pixie Dust

Pattern Paper 12x12 Simple Stories - Simple Vintage North Pole

Copic Markers

Posca Pen - White

Thanks for looking, hope you are all well and keeping safe.

Until next time

Birthday Hugs.....

Hi everyone.

Popping in today to share with you 1 of 3 cards made from the one technique and so far this one is my favourite.

To create my card I stamped out 10 of the gerbera daisy's from Penny Blacks Blooming Garden and then Copic coloured them.  Each image was then fussy cut and arranged over a backing page and was attached with semi permanent tape, die cut.   I then  used foam tape to attach the pieces to my card, so that they appear to be  floating on the card.

I took inspiration for this card from a technique shown on You Tube  by Jennifer McGuire and the here is the link to her You Tube Video - Floating Die Cut Frame.

It was lots of fun and took a while to arrange the pieces onto the backing card so that they looked nice, but well worth the effort.

supplies used:
Penny Black stamp - Blooming Garden
Avery Elle Die and Stamp - Simply Said Hugs
Copic Markers

There is still 25% off Storewide, so pop on over and have a look and please dont forget to join us for our Anything Goes Challenge.  We love seeing your creations.

Thanks for looking.

Monique Loves Macaroons....

Hi everyone just popping in today to share two of my latest cards.

It has been a very busy month this month with one thing or another and haven't had time to share these onto here...oopsie.

Below is a card I made for a friends birthday, just love how it came together, the macaroons where such fun to colour.

Stamping Bella - Monique loves Macaroons
Avery Elle Die - Wonky Stitches
Lawn Fawn Stamp - Year Two (sentiment)
(maybe available upon request)
Copic Markers

This card was a bit of an experiement.  I have had these sizzix thinlits for ages, sadly unused .  I have cut down the scribbly circles to allow them to fit onto the card, after cutting out several in different colours.  These colours had the best feel especially if using for a male.  The washi tape gives it a little lift.

I have used the following

Sizzix Thinlits - Scribbles and Splat
Avery Elle Die - Wonky Stitches
Taylored Expressions - Think Happy Thoughts
(This is old, but may still be available)
Lawn Fawn Stamp - Party Animal

Hope you have had a lovely week and thanks for dropping by.

Until next time,

Happy crafting

Shop 'til you drop...

Hi everyone.

Wow what a day we are having.

The weather in Perth today has been crazy wild.  It has been cold,  with very strong winds and heavy rain.  Trees down and lots of houses without power.

So it has been a great day to stay inside and have a play with a newly acquired stampset
from Penny Black.

I have stamped this cutie onto patterned paper from my stash, and have
coloured her up using Copic Markers, using a Nuvo glitter pen to
add accents to some of the shopping bags and balloon.
I have also used my white Gelly Roll pen to add high lights.

The following items have been used:

Penny Black Transparent Stamp - You're Retro
Lawn Fawn Stamp & Die Set - Hello Sunshine
Nuvo - Glitter Gloss pen
Gelly Roll - White
Washi Tape

Thanks for dropping in, hope you are having a wonderful day.

Until next time - Happy Crafting

Happy Easter ......

Well it will be in a few weeks and I am very much looking forward to eating a hot cross bun.  This is one of the things I love most about Easter (apart from chocolate and spending time with my family) is making my own buns and serving them fresh from the oven.

Today as I write this post I am looking through the windows overlooking my parents garden.  There is a gentle breeze and the skies are blue and little birds are hopping through the branches of the shrubs, magpies are caroling in the morning  and a Wattlebird  is having an early morning bath in the bird bath.  So nice and relaxing, being in the country.

Well it is March and that means it is time for a new challenge over at Bizzy Becs  and I now share with you my card made for this challenge, together with a little description on how I made the shaker card.

I have used the following which are available to pre order via Bizzy Becs on-line store.

Lawn Fawn  Clear Stamps and matching Die  - Eggstra Special Easter
Lawn Fawn Die - Small Stiched Rectangle Stackables
Memory Box Die - Shaker Circle Frames
Spellbinders - Standard Circles Small

The Easter basket and bunny have both been coloured with Copic Markers and then accents added with my Sakura Gelly Roll Pens.  The flower spray is made up from flowers some previously purchased from Bizzy Becs and the rest from my own stash.

To make the shaker I die cut the Shaker Circles 6 times out of white cardstock then using a liquid glue, stuck them altogether.  For the outside layer I die cut a circle from Bazzill to match the card front.
Before adhering it I added a die cut circle from acetate then glued on the top layer.

I filled the centre of the shaker with multi coloured sequins, glass beads and prills (all from my own stash) and then glued the underside of the circle stack to my card front.

Don't forget to pop on over to the store and check out all the new arrivals including the new range of flowers and embellishments.

Thanks for dropping by.

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends.

Until next time

Happy crafting
