Hi everyone.
We are just starting our 3rd week of 30+ and have to say I am so over it. Cannot wait until we have some nights were the temp is around 12 -15c so we can get some sleep and the house can cool down some.
Anyhow, today I would like to share with you an idea I found some time ago on the internet and have been busting to try it out. It also happens to fit very well with this month challenge at Bizzy Becs - Love/Friendship. It would sit very nicely on a table with a bunch of roses for a romantic dinner for two.
I had a lot of fun doing this and have recycled a Vegemite Jar, some tissue paper, a split ring, an old bead, some used black ribbon. The butterfly charm was in a card making kit which are currently out of stock and are normally found here at Bizzy Becs.
The stamps used are all Stamp It and there is a great selection available for pre order at Bizzy Becs here. I have used Air Balloon, Traditional Cameral, Journal Cage and an old French Script and they were stamped onto the tissue paper with a black Archival Ink Stamp Pad. To attach the tissue paper I used a gel medium onto the back of the tissue paper and jar and when it was dry went over the tissue paper to seal it further.
Thanks for looking hope you have had a wonderful weekend.
Happy creating

Play
Hi everyone. Wow what a few weeks we have been having with this back to back 35+ days it has been just awful - thank goodness for air conditioning and fans I say, surely there must be some cooler days soon.
Anyhow today I would like to share a card I made for one of my son's mates who has just turned 21 and as it happens can play the drums, so this Kenny K image Buggin Drummer was just perfect.

With only 20 days to Christmas I trust everyone is more organised than me. I hope to get my tree up and decorations out this weekend and then get my cards finished.
On that note I would love to see your Christmas cards too, so when they are made why not enter into this months challenge.
Look forward to seeing your cards

Happy Mail
Today I would like to share with you a card I made using a fabulous image "Happy Mail" by Tiddly Inks. Their stamps are just so adorable and Bec has a range of acrylic stamps available in store here for purchase now. They are on sale so hop in quick as they won't stay around for long.
Also used are elements from Bec's cardmaking kit #1 (pearls, ribbon & birthday greeting) there is a great range of Christmas and Card Making Kits available in store here. The lace used was also purchased from Bec and there is a great range available to purchase here. So pop on over and check them out together with all the other goodies that are currently being offered at special prices, there is something for everyone.
I have used copics to colour her with and had a bit of play using shades of red to tip the hair. I must say I am very pleased with the result and given her a spotty dress.
There is currently a challenge over at Tiddly Inks called "Anything Goes" so I am also entering this one into that.
Thanks for dropping by, have a wonderful day.

Celebrate
Hi everyone,
Well this school term is certainly back in full swing, we are part way through week 2 and it is busy busy. Lots of house keeping and finishing off getting things ready for teachers for reports and then it will be end of term and you guessed it, holidays.
In the meantime still trying very hard to keep on creating and today I would like to share with you a non-traditional Christmas card I have made.
I recently purchased some Frantage Embossing Enamel that I seen used on lots of Magnolia cards and thought I would give it go. Its funny stuff to use have to heat from underneath lol forgot a few times and it went flying plus it moves when you heat so a bit tricky. I will keep on trying to perfect it, not unhappy with the results unfortunately the glitter element of it doesn't photograph well but its there.
I have used the following:
Magnolia Stamp - Ballerina Tilda
Spellbinder Dies - Petite Ovals and Floral Ovals
Patterned Paper - Bizzy Becs card making kit
Star Embellishment - Bizzy Becs Christmas card Kit
Copic Markers
My Favourite Things - Notched Tag die and stamp
Frantage Embossing Enamel
Ribbon from own stash
Bizzy Becs has a fabulous range of goodies with new things available for pre-order regularly. Check them out here, and at reduced prices.
Don't forget there is still time to join us for this months challenge.

Fathers Day
The prize this month is an adorable Bildmalarna Stamp - Christmas Flower and is kindly donated by Bizzy Becs online store.
Bec has recently restocked the Card Making Kits which include ones suitable for men's cards and for Christmas. As it was Fathers Day last weekend it thought it would be perfect to break open the new kit that I brought and make a card. You can view all the new kits here and they are fabulous, full of awesome bits and pieces for your cards. I used the Card Kit - for Men # 3.
Everything used for the card is from the kit with the exception of the kraft card stock and the stamp . Because this months theme is stitching I used a bit of faux stitching around the outside in brown to compliment the base.
We did a day trip to the country on Fathers Day as a surprise for dad and presented him with the card and some chocolate. It was an awesome day and fabulous end to a very full weekend.
Don't forget to pop into the Challenge Blog here to check out the other DT gals cards and then come and play too!
Thanks for dropping in, happy crafting.
