Bella on a Swing.....

Hi everyone, well today is the 5th of the month which means it is  the start of a new monthly challenge over at Bizzy Becs Challenge Blog.

For my card this month I have chosen this very cute fairy image from Bizzy Becs Digital Images, she is so cute and perfect for my choice of recipient of this card.  This month my Great Niece turns 4 so this will be finding its way to her in her new home.

I love shaker cards and also knew that this month I would create another. I have coloured Bella with prisma coloured pencils and highlighted her wings with some Clear Wink of Stella.  The shaker is filled with Nuvo Rainbow Quartz Triangles and Dress my Crafts Angel Mix Sequins.  I also cut out some small 4's in Silver foil cardstock and added them to the shaker.

Birthday Hugs....

Dropping in day today  to share my latest card.  It  has been so hot in my little craft space which has made it unbearable to sit in, so have very much enjoyed a few days that have been cooler and much better for crafting.

For my card, I had a first time play with a Penny Black stamp that I have had for a while now.  It has the most cutest little stamps, which made it so hard to choose which one to start with.

To create a little more interest,   I turned my card into a shaker and am loving how it turned out.

Supplies used:

Penny Black Transparent  Stamp - It's your day

Avery Elle Stamp & Die - Simply Said Hugs

Lawn Fawn Die - Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables

Lawn Fawn Die - Stitched Rectangle Frames

Copic Markers

Mouse: E31, E33 & W5

Balloon & Hat: RV00,RV02 & RV55

Mushroom: R24,R27,R37, E70, E71,E74

Grass: YG91,YG93, YG95

Dress my Crafts - Say it with  Heart Sequins

Stickles - Diamond

To create the shaker I cut four layers or the rectangle frame and glued 3 together, then inserted a piece of acetate and glued the top layer down.  One of the centre cutouts from the frame had a piece of patterned paper glued to it and then was attached to the Rectangle Stackable.  I placed a small amount of  "Say it with Hearts Sequins" from Dress My Craft onto the centre of the pattern paper and then glued the frame over the top.

Thanks for looking,

Until next time - Happy Crafting

I have used one of Bizzy Becs newest Digital Stamps and my card is for a special little someone, who will be turning two in the coming weeks.  Koko was lots of fun to colour  using  my Copics and I have highlighted the ladybug by adding some 3D crystal lacquer.

I also added some star sequins to the trim of the party hat and a little dot of  Diamond Stickles to each centre.   There is also a hint of Nuvo Glitter  Gloss on each balloon.

I am very happy with how my card turned out by using pink and greys.

Just a Lovely - Bouquet....

Hi everyone, just popping in to share my newest card.

This  is one that I made for my sister who this week celebrated her birthday.  I love how the card came together I even managed to incorporate a shaker into the card.  They are one of my very favourite cards to make - so fun.

The use of the gold foil card as a backing, for the sentiment and numbers  combined with the gold and coppery sequin mix ties it all together.

The image was coloured with Copic Markers and detailed with Prisma Coloured Pencils.

supplies used:
Pink Fresh Studio Stamp & Die - Just a Little Lovely
Lawn Fawn Dies
Sue Wilson Mini Expressions Die - Happy Birthday
Paper Rose Die - Numbers
Dress My Craft Sequins - Copper Mix

Happy New Year.....

Hi everyone.

Dropping in today to share a new card.  I have been playing with Distress Oxides and some different backgrounds, one of which I have used for my card.  The cloud background is an old cloud die that was cut from acetate and used as a template.

For the frame I have used an Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and by choosing the two largest dies you can create a wonderful frame.

supplies used:

Penny Black Stamp - Restful
Lawn Fawn Die - Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables
Penny Black Die - Celebrations
(this is an old die, but may still be available)
Tim Holtz Distress Oxides - Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles, Mermaid Lagoon
Dress My Craft Sequins - Sea Breeze
Picket Fence Studios - Blender Brushes pack 10

Until next time - Happy Crafting

Wee One.....

Hi everyone.

Today is the start of a new challenge month over at Bizzy Becs and I would like to share my card created for this months challenge.

I have used a very cute stamp from Whimsy Stamps and the card had pefect timing as our family recently welcomed another new member.

The image was coloured with Copic Markers and Primsa Coloured pencils.

Supplies used:
Whimsy Stamps - Wee One
Taylored Expressions Stamp & Die - Simple Strips
Memory Box Die - Shaker Circle Frames
(This is an old die but may still be available)
Dress my Craft Sequins - Sea Breeze
Copic Markers

I cut the Shaker Circle Die 5 times and layered them together placing acetate under the top layer.  I then  glued them into the circle I cut into the background to create my shaker, added the sequin mix and then attached to the base card.  With the addition of  sequin stars around the outside which were  highlighted in  the centre  with  Ranger Stickles in Turquoise. I am delighted how the card turned out.

Jewel.....

Hi everyone and welcome to the start of another challenge over at Bizzy Becs Store Blog.

For my card for this month I have chosen to colour a new digital image called Jewel.  She and her friends have recently been added to the store and are all super cute.

I have coloured her up using Prisma Coloured Pencils and have to say as my first ever image coloured with pencils was very pleased how she came together.  I will however change the type of paper that I print  onto in future when using pencils.  I used Xpressit paper which I found quite slippery.

supplies used:
Bizzy Becs Digital Stamp - Jewel
Penny Black Transparent Stamp - Sprinkles and Smiles
Lawn Fawn Die - Large Stitched Square Stackables
Dress my Craft - Angel Mix Sequins
Nuvo - Glittler Gloss
Sakura Gelly Roll - Golden Star

Dont forget to drop on over to the Store, there is for the month of March a 10% Storewide Super Saver.

Thanks for dropping by.

Until Next time, Happy Crafting
