Lily Jug .....

Hi everyone.

Popping in today to share my latest creation for the February challenge over at the Crafters Cafe Blog Challenge.

For my card this month I chose the digital Lily Jug which I coloured using Copic Markers and Prisma Coloured Pencils.  Lots of colouring but love the end result. I have listed the colours used below using as inspiration a colour palette from Vanilla Arts.  For the spots I have used patterned paper and there are stripes in the flower petals after colouring.

Statement Flowers.....

 Hi everyone.

Wow October has just flown by so fast, can't believe how close we are to Christmas.

Today I would like to share with you my latest creation using a stamp from Altenew called Statement Flowers.  Such a pretty stamp.

To create my card I first stamped my flowers over the top portion of my card, then coloured with my Copic Markers.  To highlight my flowers I then came in with  Prisma Coloured pencils to create depth. 

My background is also done using a Prisma Coloured Pencil and Zest It.  Finally I flicked some White & Black from my Posca Pens over the completed piece and  then die cut to create the top feature. The bottom piece is a left over from the inside of  my Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Die.

Beautiful Bergenia....

 Hi everyone, 

 I have been having a play with a new 3D embossing folder from Altenew, oh my it is gorgeous and so lovely to work with.

First I ran my cardstock through the embossing folder and then using my blending brush covered all the card with Milled Lavendar Distress Ink Pad and then lightly brushed a gold pigment ink pad over the raised areas of the card. Loved how it turned out.

Tiny Townie with an Elephant...

Hi everyone.

Just popping in today to share my new card made with a very cute little stamp from Stamping Bella.  I am very happy with how she turned out and the inked background was a great success.

After blending the oxides for my background I added small droplets of water, then damped off with a paper towel.  I then followed this by using splatters of white and black ink to the background.

Garden Girl Rose - Stamping Bella

Star Effect Card....

Hi everyone.

Just popping in today to share with you a card that I made after being inspired by one that I saw on a Youtube video recently.  It was super easy to make and much fun. The video also contains information on constructing the matching envelope.

 Although this one is not being posted, it is easy to post ( I would change the flowers and use less bulky ones ) - as it pulls apart and folds flat.  

I have used the following to decorate my star card.

Happy July

Well winter is on it's way, we have had some freezing mornings lately and lots of heavy fog.  Not huge amounts of rain yet, but hopefully that will pick up and our farmers will get some benefit from it.

Been a crazy week this week, we are a computer down boo hoo.  Picked up a nasty computer  virus during the week and can't seen to shake it and we refuse to be held to ransom by the creators and pay to fix it (thats a big scam) , last resort is to reformat and re-start from a fresh and hope it kills the issue and that we don't lose too much stuff. 

Anyhow enough of my dramas onto my card.  It's the 5th of July and the start of brand new challenge at Bizzy Becs, so today I would like to share with you my card created for this months challenge.

Welcome to June gosh this year is just flying by, and being that it is June that means its time for a new challenge over at Bizzy Becs so get your stamps, markers out and come on over an join us.

Today also marks my first post as DT & Challenge Co-ordinator over at Bizzy Becs, I have big shoes to fill, but I am very excited about this new venture.

I just loved the last shaker card I made,  so for todays card I thought I would experiment with a different die and see what happens.  Well have to say I am pretty chuffed with the results.

Tilda Longstocking......

Hi everyone, today I have been playing with my Distress Ink Pads onto Watercolour Paper.  I haven't used them to colour this way for ages and wanted to revisit this technique.  I have to say I am pretty chuffed with the result.

I have used the following colours:

Hair:     Walnut Stain, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo
Skin:      Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo
Dress and Shoes:   Victoria Velvet, Iced Spruce, Weathered Wood
Apron:  Touch of Weathered Wood
Stockings:  Aged Mahogany

Stamp:   Magnolia - Tilda Longstocking

I have also used the following MFT Dies:  Heart Balloons and Lots of Love
Birthday greeting stamp is from my own stash

Up, Up and Away...

Hi everyone, its March so  welcome to a start of a new "Anything Goes" challenge

My card this months features MFT Stamp Set and matching die Up, Up and Away and Cloud Trio.

I have used Distress Ink Pads to colour the hot air balloons in Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Salty Ocean, Dried Marigold and Barn Door.

Celebrate

Hi everyone.

Yesterday we were awoken to a strange noise outside, couldn't believe it.  It was raining and we even had some thunder.  Admittedly it didn't last very long but it was a very pleasant relief after the weeks of back to back hot sticky weather.  Maybe fingers crossed we will get some more...oh I hope we don't have to wait too long, after all it is Autumn when all said and done.

Yesterday at a friends house I got to play with some new Aladine Izink pigment inks and have to say they are very noice, we watched a video that Donna Downey had put up on her blog of her play with them  and we were very inspired.

Today though I would like to share with you a card I made using Dylusion Inks - Bubblegum Pink and Vibrant Turquoise both of these colours and more,  are available to order via Bizzy Bec's online store here.
I mixed them with some water and love how the colours ran into each other and created new colours, very yummy.

I have also used a Memory Box Die - Prim Poppy which also can be ordered  via Bizzy Becs and while you are there check out the new Memory Box Dies and Stencils that are available to order here.  The word celebrate is a My Favourite Thing word die and is from my own stash, together with the Kaiser bling.
