Celebrating with you.....

Hi everyone.

Popping in today to share my latest card with you.

I have used a die from Spellbinders as the focal for my card which  I gave to my husband on his birthday.

I die cut the frame three times in black cardstock and glued them together to create depth, adding the centre pieces back in.  I then die cut it again three times in the blue and pieced some of them into the frame and created the extra pattern on the centre of the die to create some interest.

The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions, love these,  all different sentiments,  great for all occasions.

The background paper is from half a sheet of Scrapbooking Paper I have had in my stash  from eons ago by Making Memory.

Supplies Used:

Spellbinders Kaleidoscope die - Optical Illusion
Taylored Expressions die and stamp - Simple Strips Background
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Black Soot

3D Blooms....

Hi everyone.

Dropping in today to share a quick and easy card featuring Cut & Lift 3d Die by Lisa Horton and Creative Expressions.  I like how the flowers can be popped up after cutting.

also be cut completely by scissors after die cutting.  Which would then
create a different look.

Smile ....

Hi there.

There is a new challenge started today over at Bizzy Becs Store Blog for those who wish to join
in.   Today I would like to share with you my card for the challenge.

I have been pondering over this die for a while, unsure how to highlight at it's best.  I am quite happy with how it has turned out, especially once I added some accents in the corners by way of some Twinklets Diamond Dust.  Sadly photo doesn't do the  diamond dust justice.

My background was created with watercolour crayons using a gelly plate - a new and fun technique learnt recently through a friend - Debra over at One Card at a Time and the leaf has been cut from green cardstock and paper pieced into the diecut rose.

supplies used:

Hero Arts  Infinity Dies - Rectangle
Sue Wilson Die - Rose Flower Square
Pink Fresh Die - Smile
Stamping Up retired embossing folder - Vintage Wallpaper
Stamping up Stamp Set - Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Twinklets Diamond Dust

Mood Board Challenge...

Hi, this month I have played along with the March Mood Board over at Paper
Roses Community on Facebook.  Such fun and so many different options available to chose from on the board and as I have only a very small amount of Paper Roses products I am very happy with how
it turned out.

I have chosen oranges, yellows, reds and greens from this board and created a birthday card
which will be given to a friend who has a birthday coming up in the next few months.

I used Distress Oxides for the background combining two different colours then ran it through an embossing folder.  I then created a shaker using the birthday greeting.
The peonies  and leaves were coloured using copic markers then fine tuned with Prisma
Coloured Pencils.

I used the following items:

Paper Roses Stamp & Die - Peonies
Paper Roses Die - Happy Birthday to you Layered
Paper Roses Die - Stitched Rectangles
Assorted sequins & crystals
Copic Markers
Prisma Coloured Pencils
Distress Oxides - Peeled Paint and Stormy Sky
