Hi everyone and welcome to the start of another challenge over at Bizzy Becs Store Blog.

For my card for this month I have chosen to colour a new digital image called Jewel.  She and her friends have recently been added to the store and are all super cute.

I have coloured her up using Prisma Coloured Pencils and have to say as my first ever image coloured with pencils was very pleased how she came together.  I will however change the type of paper that I print  onto in future when using pencils.  I used Xpressit paper which I found quite slippery.

supplies used:
Bizzy Becs Digital Stamp - Jewel
Penny Black Transparent Stamp - Sprinkles and Smiles
Lawn Fawn Die - Large Stitched Square Stackables
Dress my Craft - Angel Mix Sequins
Nuvo - Glittler Gloss
Sakura Gelly Roll - Golden Star

Dont forget to drop on over to the Store, there is for the month of March a 10% Storewide Super Saver.

Thanks for dropping by.

Until Next time, Happy Crafting

Bold Blossoms....

Hi everyone, just popping in today to share my
card with you.  I have used a stamp set from Darkroom Door.

It is very versatile, the stamps can be used as backgrounds, focal stamps or in your art
journals, however today I have used one from the set for a
Sympathy card for a friend.

I stamped the blossom with versamark and then embossed with black to
help it pop and used white embossing powder
 for the sentiment.

Supplies Used:

Darkroom Door Stamp Sets - Bold Blossoms
                                              - Simple Sayings
Avery Elle Die - Wonky Stitches
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads - Old Paper and Aged Mahogany

There has been lots of new releases added to the shop as per the recent newsletter, so pop on over and check them out.

Thanks for looking, happy crafting.

Star Effect Card....

Hi everyone.

Just popping in today to share with you a card that I made after being inspired by one that I saw on a Youtube video recently.  It was super easy to make and much fun. The video also contains information on constructing the matching envelope.

Although this one is not being posted, it is easy to post ( I would change the flowers and use less bulky ones ) - as it pulls apart and folds flat.

I have used the following to decorate my star card.

First Edition Dies - Doileys
MFT Die - Blueprint 24
Impression Obsession Die - Greeting Set
Blue Butterfly Digi Stamp - My Butterfly Friend
Flowers - Paper Flowers    (mine are old stock)
Paper and Cardstock are from my own stash
Copic Markers

If you would like to watch the video on creating the card,  you can find the link here.  Positively Papercraft's instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Our current 'Anything Goes Challenge' has started, so dust off your supplies and join us.

Until next time

Hi everyone.

Happy New Year, hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebration  with your loved ones.

Today I would like to share with you my card for the start of the  new challenge over at Bizzy Becs

As we have now started a new year I played along with that theme and did a New Years card using a stamp from Stamping Bella.  Although these girls are very slim I had fun colouring her up with Copic Markers.

Items used:
Stamping Bella - Opal the Optiminist
Memory Box Die - Stitched Square Layers
Memory Box Die - City Scape Nightline *
Taylored Expressions Stamp & Die - Think Happy Thoughts *
Tim HoltzDistress Ink Pad - Tea Dye
