Star Effect Card....

Hi everyone.

Just popping in today to share with you a card that I made after being inspired by one that I saw on a Youtube video recently.  It was super easy to make and much fun. The video also contains information on constructing the matching envelope.

Although this one is not being posted, it is easy to post ( I would change the flowers and use less bulky ones ) - as it pulls apart and folds flat.

I have used the following to decorate my star card.

First Edition Dies - Doileys
MFT Die - Blueprint 24
Impression Obsession Die - Greeting Set
Blue Butterfly Digi Stamp - My Butterfly Friend
Flowers - Paper Flowers    (mine are old stock)
Paper and Cardstock are from my own stash
Copic Markers

If you would like to watch the video on creating the card,  you can find the link here.  Positively Papercraft's instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Our current 'Anything Goes Challenge' has started, so dust off your supplies and join us.

Until next time

Hi everyone, just popping in today to share a card made using Blue Butterfly Digital Stamps which are available in the store.

In the spirit of Halloween,  which is just around the corner,  I made this shaker card for
a friend whose birthday falls on that day.  I had fun playing with a different skin colours as I wanted something ghoulish looking.  In the end I  came up with this greenish colour and am quite
happy with the end result.  She has been coloured using Copics.

I have used the following

Blue Butterfly Digital Stamp - Candra Goth  Girl
Paper Roses Die - Scalloped Rectangle Frame
Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits - Celebrate
Halloween Confetti - Coles Supermarket
Copic Markers

Bizzy Becs Card Kits are back in stock  together with  a selection of envelopes to suit different card sizes, check them out here....

Cody FIshing....

Hi everyone popping in again today to share with you my card for this months new 'Anything Goes' Challenge over at Bizzy Becs.

Bec has a range of Digital Stamps called Blue Butterfly and I have chosen to use Cody Fishing from the Boyz will be Boyz collection, which I have then coloured with Copic Markers.

I have also used two different dies for the image to sit on.  Firstly Lawn Fawn - Large Stitched Circle Stackables and then Memory Box - Stitched Square Layers.  The circle and all edges were then inked with a  Distress Ink Pad in Vintage Photo.

Thanks for dropping in, have a wonderful week.

Until next time, happy crafting.

Once Upon a Time - Roses ....

Hi everyone, today I am popping in to share with you my new card.

I have been playing again with the Blue Butterfly Digi Stamps from Bizzy Becs Online Store.  I have been wanting to enlarge one of the girls faces for a while now.  The image I choose is from the Once Upon a Time Collection and is called Roses.  You can find her and her friends here.

Yesterday in Perth was so cold and wet, it was a perfect day to sit inside and colour.

She has been coloured with Copics and Prisma Pencils and was such fun to colour.  I have also used Card Embellishment Kit No. 8 and she has been printed onto Copic Paper (Bec has a similar product in store Neenah Cardstock) and  then die cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities die - Fleur De Lis Squares.  The sentiment is a freebie and available here from the store blog.

The stocktake sale is still on but only for a limited time so drop by the store for all your crafty needs.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Jingle all the way....

Hi everyone

Well here we are 3 days to go, hope all your Christmas preparations are on track.

Yesterday my ktichen table and benches looked like a disaster zone, flour everywhere, packets of this and that and dishes piled high.  By the end of the day I have made the fruit mince for my pies, 2 types of fudge for Christmas gifting and homemade pizza for last nights dinner.  Round two starts today, nougat and Christmas Cakes.

Today I would like to share with you my Christmas Cards made for 2016.

These have been on a production line for a while now and am pleased to say they are finished and ready for posting, albeit a little bit late.

I have used the following items which are available via Bizzy Becs Online Store:

Blue Butterfly Digi Stamps - Little Santa Collection - Little Santa With Present
The Following via pre orders
Memory Box Die - Country Landscape
Memory Box Stencil - Tiny Snowflakes
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads - Weathered Wood & Tumbled Glass

These items are from my own stash:
Tim Holtz  Thinlits - Holiday Words Script
Tombow pens
Stickles - Diamond
Liquitex - Soft Modeling Paste
Aleenes - True Snow
Glossy Accents

The santa was printed out onto watercolour paper, coloured with Tombows and then fussy cut.  The background is also on watercolour paper with soft modelling paste through the stencil and the sky was using a smoosh technique, followed by stickles onto the snowflakes.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

Until next time, Happy Crafting

Tag It!

Woohoo its November and that means it is time for another challenge at Bizzy Becs.  The challenge for this month is to create a Tag.  Now it can be a stand alone tag or it can be a tag somewhere on your creation and is by DT Michelle.

There is a fabulous prize on offer again this month a Tiddly Inks stamp "Beach Babe".  These stamps are relatively new to Bizzy Becs and are very cute.  You can find them here.

For my tag I have had a play with a new background that I recently was shown called "Alcohol Float"  it was lots of fun playing with the alcohol inks and gesso and am pleased with the overall effect.  I used a combination of Pool, Juniper, Sandal & Sailboat Blue, these are from my own stash.  Prior to inking I used a spellbinder M -bossability folder called Ornament Iron and there are a few different ones that you can pre order from Becs store here.

Also used on the tag is a Blue Butterfly Digi stamp called " Little Santa holding a present" these are available at Bizzy Becs here and there are lots of categories to choose from.  He is coloured with Copics and the fur on his outfit is painted with Aleenes True Snow.   I also used  the Memory Box die Frostyville Wreath which was a Christmas release from last year and creatively cut it apart and used the snowflakes which I covered in Crystal Stickles.  Memory Box dies can be preordered at here plus there are lots of other brand dies available.

The tree is Tim Holtz Pine Tree die cut from grunge board and coloured up with Distress Paints, the tips of the tree I painted with the True Snow also from my own stash.    At the bottom of the tag is Green Tara Burlap Ribbon  in coffee and is available to purchase in store here in a fabulous range of colours.  The Merry Christmas at the bottom is from my own stash and are metal  gift tags that I purchased from K-Mart at the end of Christmas a few years back.

Don't forget to pop on over to the Store Blog  and check out the fabulous inspiration from the other Design Team girls.

Looking forward to seeing your creations, happy crafting.

Burlesque Bessie

Well this year is certainly flying by very fast June already!

Since my last post I have been on a craft camp. Had a fabulous weekend 3 days  crafting, creating anything we wanted, no dishes or  housework so much fun.  Can't wait until the next one which hopefully will be towards the end of this year yippee!

Now being that is now June that means  challenge time again at Bizzy Becs.  Each month the DT girls get to choose the challenge theme and this month it is my turn.  Hope you all like it as I  chose Monochromatic + 1 extra colour.  So for my colours I have chosen shades of brown + green as my extra colour.

There is another fabulous prize up for offer for the winner this month kindly donated by
                                                         Bizzy Becs online store

                                                       Spellbinder Die   D-Lite die

For my card I have chosen an image from the Store- Blue Butterfly Digi "Burlesque Bessie"  from the Pin Up Girls series which I have coloured in Sepia using the green as an accessory with my copics.  I have also used  Spellbinders Decorative Labels One and Labels One which are available for pre order in the store here.  Also used are some of the elements from Card Kit #4 which are fabulous value for money along with extra flowers from my own stash.  Bec is adding new kits all the time so check them out here.

I have also used a free sentiment which is available as a download on the challenge blog here.  If you look in the right hand side bar there are lots of others as well. ( Don't forget if you use them give credit to Bec.)

Thanks for dropping by, happy crafting.

Spooky

Well I have to say what a contrast in weather we are having at the moment, we have woken this morning to grey skies and rain.  Such a shame after the lovely weather we have been having lately, but that's spring for you....lol.

Today I would like to share with you another card I have made following on with my "Halloween" theme.  I have used another of the Blue Butterfly Digi stamps, "Candra Goth Girl" which is available from Becs store here.  They are so easy to colour I just love them and hopefully you all took advantage of the little sale that Bec had over the last few days and stocked up on all your favourites.

Here is my card, I have used lots of die cuts and crystal embellishments, even managed to spray some white flowers as I wanted to use some black roses, haha think I got more on me than the flowers.

I have chosen to do something different this time and have had a go at doing a twisted easel card.  Well have to so say they are so easy and lots of fun so will definitely be doing that one again.  There are lots of wonderful tutorials out there to follow but quite liked this one as it is easy to follow and has great pictures.

Here is a close up

recipe:
Memory Box dies:   Estate Fence
                                    Twiggy Tree
Spellbinders         :   Lacy Squares
Candra, Blue Butterfly Digi

flowers    all of the above  are available through Bizzy Becs online store here

everything else is from my own stash
dsp:                          Echo Park- Chillingsworth Manor
Martha Stewart - Cobweb punch
Tim Holtz - Rickety House
Stampin Up - Wicked Cool
crystal embellishments
bazzill and Kraft paper

Teddy Cuddles!

Welcome to a new month at Bizzy Becs.

There is another fabulous challenge for you all this month

 "Spots and Stripes"

and the prize for this month is this gorgeous Memory Box Die.
 Isn't it devine.

This month I decided to create a birthday tag instead of a card and have used "Teddy Cuddles" Once upon a  Time collection  from Bizzy Becs online stores - Blue Butterfly Digital range. If you haven't got them yet go take a look there are lots to choose from.

I also used for the greeting another digi element from Becs  a freebie found on the store blog here.  To go with the spots and stripes theme I added stripes to her socks and spots to her bow in her hair.  The flowers came from Bizzy Becs as well as the butterfly charm.  Paper and lace and from my own stash and I coloured her with copic markers.

Don't forget to drop by the challenge blog to see the rest of the teams gorgeous creations and we look forward to seeing your cards, so get those entries in.

Thanks for dropping by, happy crafting.
