Penguin Family....

Hi hello back again today to share with you my new card.

For my card  this month, lately I have been seeing a new style of card on the block - Pop and Twist.  So I did some investigating and lots of youtube watching and this is what I have come up with.

My card base is a standard A2 card 10.5cm x 14.8 cm and is a top fold card. my pop out which you will see shortly is cut at 28.5 cm x 6.5 cm and I have cut two pieces. For the next steps to make the pop out mechanism I followed a Youtube Tutorial by Maymaymade it Crafts .

I then embellished the basic pop out and card base with my own patterned paper, copic coloured images and die cuts. Lots of folding etc, but well work the end result.

Supplies used:

Stampingbella stamp - Penguin Family

Lawn Fawn stamp & Die - Happy Happy Happy Add on

Lawn Fawn Die - Stitched Hillside borders

Lawn Fawn - Small stitched Rectangle Stackables

Creative Expressions Die - Festive Mini Wonderful Time of the Year

Distress Ink Pads -Evergreen Bough & Peacock Feathers -  Kit 1 @ 4

Lawn Fawn sparkle cardstock - Pixie Dust

Pattern Paper 12x12 Simple Stories - Simple Vintage North Pole

Copic Markers

Posca Pen - White

Thanks for looking, hope you are all well and keeping safe.

Hi everyone.

Just popping in today to share a couple of cards with you.  The first was a card created for the start of the current months challenge over at Bizzy Becs.

For my card I have die cut a mask from a Tim Holtz Thinlits Die - Bouquet and applied Heidi Swapp Clear Texture Paste through the mask.  Once dried I have placed a sheet of gold foil over the top and run it through my laminator.  Just love the effect.

My second card is one that I created after being inspired by a youtube video I recently watched by Jennifer Macquire on her Spotlight Stamping Technique.

The Stamp Set I used for this technique is from Darkroom Door and I have not thought of using it this way before, luckily it had three different tulip stamps within the set and has worked perfectly.

Darkroom Door Rubber Stamp - Happy Birthday
Lawn Fawn Die - Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables
Memento Ink - Rose Bud, Pistachio, Olive Grove and Tuxedo Black

Trick or Treat....

Hi everyone, dropping in today to share my card with you, that I created last month for Bizzy Becs online store.

My inspiration for this image stems from last  month having Halloween at the end of it.  I am not generally one to celebrate anything Halloween but occasionally I like to make a card showcasing something along that theme.    I hope you like her.

I just love the quirkiness of the new Oddball Characters from Stamping Bella.

She has been coloured with two different types of media this time.  For the skin I have used Prisma coloured pencils and the rest of the image was coloured with Copic Markers.

I also used my alphabet punch board from We R Memory Makers to create the senitment.  I then placed a strip of purple foil card underneath to make it pop.

Supplies used:

Stampingbella - Oddball Shopper
Avery Elle Die - Wonky Stitches
Alphabet Punch Board - wermemorymakers
