Celebrate

Hi everyone,

Well this school term is certainly back in full swing, we are part way through week 2 and it is busy busy.  Lots of house keeping and finishing off getting things ready for teachers for reports and then it will be end of term and you guessed it, holidays.

In the meantime still trying very hard to keep on creating and today I would like to share with you a non-traditional Christmas card I have  made.

I recently purchased some Frantage Embossing Enamel that I seen used on lots of Magnolia cards and thought I would give it go.  Its funny stuff to use have to heat from underneath lol forgot a few times and it went flying plus it moves when you heat so a bit tricky.  I will keep on trying to perfect it, not unhappy with the results unfortunately the glitter element of it doesn't photograph well but its there.

I have used the following:

                              Magnolia Stamp  - Ballerina Tilda
Spellbinder Dies -  Petite Ovals and Floral Ovals
Patterned Paper  - Bizzy Becs card making kit
Star Embellishment -  Bizzy Becs Christmas card Kit
                              Copic Markers
My Favourite Things  - Notched Tag die and stamp
                              Frantage Embossing Enamel
                              Ribbon from own stash

Bizzy Becs has a fabulous range of goodies with new things available for pre-order regularly.  Check them out here, and at reduced prices.

Don't forget there is still time to join us for this months challenge.

On the Road Tilda

Welcome to another Challenge at Bizzy Becs.  This month we have a fabulous fun and easy sketch for you.

The prize for this month is this awesome die from Joy Crafts called Floral Flourishes perfect for making flowers and is kindly donated by Bizzy Becs Online Store.

I have chosen for my card this month a Magnolia Stamp from the Sea Breeze Collection called "On the Road Tilda" and the patterned paper and pearls are from Card Embellishment Kit # 1.  Tilda has been coloured with copics.  I have used a Magnolia die for the banner and the sentiment is a stamp from my own stash together with the coordinating cardstock.

Magnolia stamps and  card making kits are available in store.  Some stamps can be purchased now others are pre-orders, also why not pop over and take advantage of  the preorder sale that is now on and grab a bargain.

Then drop into the store blog and check out  the other DT's inspiration for this months challenge.

So dust of your stamps and raid your paper stash and join us for this months challenge.  Look forward to seeing your creations.

Happy creating

Karen
