A Little Bit of Glamour!!

Over at Theme Thursday this week the theme is Glamour Girls. Here is my contribution to this weeks challenge. Being very new to the world of ATC's I am thoroughly enjoying making them.

For my background I have used a resist technique with a Collections Victorian #3 stamp and a gold leafing pen. I have then gone over that with a wash of Quinacridone/Nickel Azo Gold, Paynes Grey and Turquois (Phthalo). My image is from google. I have also used gold embossing powder, Swarovski crystals, German Scraps and Treasure Gold rubon.

It's all about Sewing!

This week at Theme Thursday their theme is about sewing. All be it that mine is a tad late (week ends today)I have had a go. Dusted the cobwebs off the sewing machine, looked through my sewing box and this is what I came up with.

My image is from google, background is scanned image of pattern back which I sprayed with Patina Glimmer Mist. Added some pop studs, lace, some machine stitching and a sewing machine charm and inked around with pinecone ink. I experimented with the title by using my labelling machine (not sure how successful it will be).

Blind Scrap Challenge Week 3!

Phew! Have just completed the blind scrap challenge for my lss for this week. It is very challenging when there is no picture to follow only instructions. But hopefully I have done as expected. Here is a sneak peak of my layout. The best thing is that I have been using papers and embellies that have had for a while, so clearing out the stash - slowly.

Blind Scrap Week 2!

It's Paris !!

Over at Theme Thursday this week their theme is Paris. Here is my contribution:

My image is googled, I have used two stamps from the Tim Holtz Mini Classic Set. The background is Quinacridone Magenta with Cranberry Zing Glimmer Mist over the top and have used wire and German Scraps.

New Collections Release!!

Wow, what can I say. They are very yummy indeed. Cannot wait to have a play, my lss said that the new releases will be in this week so can't wait. I was however very lucky to take part in a workshop just recently with a pair of very talented and amazing ladies Maxine & Audrey using collections products. The class ran two workshops one making a vintage tile and the other with white and pink (very nice). It was a shame I couldn't have done both. Here is the tile that I made. Just loved the techniques.

Blind Scrap!!

Over the next four weeks my lss Scrapbooks from the Heart are running a blind scrap competition. Week 1 finished yesterday so I can share a sneak peak of my layout. We are not allowed to show the full layout until the voting is completed at the end of the challenges.

I enjoyed doing this weeks challenge and am looking to our next installment which should arrive shortly.
